Wheels, and the tape are what's doing it.

Don't worry, my last Skua was flying at ~16oz for a few months because of repairs, and it was an amazing flying plane. Floated VERY well.

I had bought the fuse from DW a few months ago because the original was getting to much glue from repairs. But it managed to hang on this long till last weekend when I got into in an argument with mother earth ( she won) So Im selling this fuse and going with a 55" Juka for my next one.

Would I need servo extensions for a 40" Juka? I'm trying to piece together everything I need and thats the last on my checklist.

I used one extension for the rudder servo. All I needed.

Kewl. I have a 6 inch sitting in my tool box that will come in handy. I'm using hs-65 servos. I'm guessing servo lead lengths are pretty much the same for these smaller servos.

HS65HB's will have long enough leads for a 40".

I've got two flights off the skua just before it started raining. I've got the CG on the wing spar but seems like that is very tail heavy coz it shoots up as soon as it goes inverted!
But it does float really good, in fact it flies very different to the juka or the yak, I've got some big throws on the control surface but it just doesn't do fast snaps, even with full throttle blender it still comes down slow xD but it's a different type of fun I guess. One thing I realise is rolling circles dun require any rudder at all it just rolls on an axis by itself, and the rudder is very sensitive
And it doesn't handle as much wind as the 40" kits, overall
I had a hard landing at the end and the landing gear pushed a hole on my wing so now I have a strip of carbon behind it
I'm pretty happy with it

Quick update. Package got here for the 40" Juka. All is fine minus the decal sheet which was a write off. Emailed Mike to get a new one and also found my carbon spar was too long. He went back in his shop and tried snapping it with pliers and told me that worked since I dont have access to any of my tools while at college. He then offered to send me a whole graphics package free as well as a tiger head since I go to Clemson and our mascot is the tiger.

So all my problems were taken care of as of 12:30 AM EST which makes it 8:30 PM his time. Way after closing I'm sure. I will most likely never meet Mike, but without a doubt he is a great man willing to go the extra mile to help out his customers. His service is amazing and I will be buying again when the need arises without a doubt.

That looks pretty sweet! How much weight did you add?

Dont have a scale. Some of the tape has kind of bubbled and lost its sticky. I'm guessing it was from the kicker spray, as that stuff will penetrate the wax paper I used to keep glue off the counter.
