65mgs are a little heavy but should be ok. What motor? If motor is lighter and servos heavier, that could result in your rearward CG. Move one or both of your tail servos forward to match your gear and get it to CG.

Thank rpmrpm that is what I did and the rear servos ended almost as far up as the other 2 I also needed to move the landing gear forward and now it will
Cg at 3/4" behind the spar with a 1300 all the way forward.
I am using a eflite 450

Glad ya worked it out. I like the speed on those CSRC 65mg's, I'd never heard of them. They are a couple grams heavier then the Hitec 65mgs that are comely used in the 48" kits but would save ya $40 a set over the Hitecs. Just wish they were digital.

Now that I crunch the numbers...... Those servos may be your hole issue on a 40" kit. Designed servos are 8-9g (hxt900/hs55) those are .13g. So at .04g grams heavier per servo it has almost added the weight of 2 extra servos. Especially the extra tail weight. Happy flying.

EDIT. I've got myself confused, just checked, I've got 12.5g Corona 939mgs in my 40" Juka w/a 72g Dynamo2217 (exact weight as Park450) and I'm balanced spot on with nothing moved around??????

It would appear I've been out of the game for far too long... Was tidying up my basement yesterday and decided to toss a couple batteries on the charger and go fly my 40" Yak 54.

One thing I realized is I've nearly forgotten how to fly

Hoping to get out more now that summer is getting close (err well it feels like it to us So Cali folk)

Have nothing more than a handful of flights on this puppy. Will need to replace all of the servos with something a bit quicker than HS55's..

I said 'nearly'

I was so rusty it took a few minutes to get back into the groove of things. It wasn't long before I was dragging wingtips on the ground and buzzing the grass

One things for certain, I'll need to get some new batteries. Mine are aged and ready for eternal retirement as paperweights for my plans.

Old batteries are great for holding down templates while painting!
