hehe. yes, very true. After this new 40 juka bites the dust, i think i may try another fusion model. The first one i had was using poor servos and i could never get it to fly well. Once I put HS65s in my other DWs, it really came alive. The differences are amazing between a well centering servo and a cheapy.

for those of you using hxt900s, what are you using as the servo horn extensions? I've had recommendations of a zip tie or guitar pick. Anything else?

great idea. So you would cut a thin section that you'd need and then screw it on to the existing arm, i assume?

started to build the backup 40" Juka over lunch. Got it taped up for painting.

I decided to use some HS-65MGs that I was holding for a 48" balsa that I'll probably never get around to buying.

Going to try to power through this tonight and get it all built.

Ever try HS-55's? They're nylon geared, but are a little lighter. I tried the HS-65hb's but I personally prefer the lighter setup. Just a thought...

I've had two HS-55's strip in pretty short order. I'd sooner use the Hextronics.

Sorry to hear that. I've had the same HS-55's on my Juka for almost two years. I guess different people have different experiences.

I've only owned 65MGs and 65HBs. Haven't tried 55s yet.

I initially tried some towerpro MG90s and didn't care for them at all. Terrible centering issues. Was constantly fighting the roll.

The Emax digitals are actually very quick, but they have some serious jittering issues on center.

I have a fusion model and a DW. DW is 100% better flying airplane in my opinion.

I meant the DW fusion 40" models. I had the Yak 55 DW fusion once upon a time, but the servos were crap and i constantly was fighting the roll.
