Hey Jayhawk - good to see that you have some DW's as well!
I just got the brand new Yak54 in a 40" versions - almost done putting it together - Can't wait!
I'll post a flight review.

hey Adreas -

Yes! I'm a big fan of Mike's DW's. I've had the 40" Y55 fusion and the 40" Juka. Sold off the fusion and i still have the 40 juka as a beater. And i just ordered a replacement 40 Juka along with the 48 Y54.

For my money, it's the most fun you can have for 65-85 bucks. I really enjoy flying my larger 60-74" balsa models, but they don't make me grin like the DWs. It could be because of the higher cost of the bigger stuff makes me paranoid. After the new 48 DW, i'd like to get the 60 mxs and then be done with picking up new models for a while

Last week, i took my 40 juka to the club field where i haven't been in a while. They guys were stunned how great the beater juka flies. One guy called it "aerial ballet"

I hear ya - It's a blast for sure - I started with the 55" BAF Yak54 then a Juka 40 with lights and all and now the 40"Yak54 - It's as great as it gets!

I learned to 3D on the 38" Yak 54, it's a classic and very distinctive with the lattice edges. Looking forward to putting together a 'Cold 40' version.

That 330VT looks like a wild ride! Videos??!!!!

Here is my 40" Juka. The weather today was iffy I took it out today . Still playing with motors I have a AXI 2212-34 11X 4.7 prop with a 1000 MHA 3 cell I am getting longer time on the batt over the scorpion just less power. Happy with it.

I just took out my micro Threlon after I readjusted the wing struts. Now it flies like a dream, I feel like I'm on a simulator. Every thing is completely perfect. No wing rock. No nice knife edge coupling, perfect roll rate, incredible powerful, flies really REALLY slow, and looks pretty cool too. Couldn't ask for a better plane

I really like this one. Thinking of getting this exact same one. Are those graphics Decals or is that painted on.
