Really? I think they do fine (see my video earlier--that was about the 3rd flight on that plane) That's how I learned how to land! Makes landing anything with an airfoil wing annoyingly difficult...

i've had lots of issues snapping something when trying harrier landings. Of course, it could be the pilot (probably is), but i've had much better success when greasing the landings with some airspeed when not hover catching.

Admittedly, it's a lot harder when the wind suddenly changes direction with the plane 1ft off the ground with low throttle!

i was at my club field yesterday. Brought the beater Juka 40 to warm up before flying the larger stuff. Finally got a full circle of rolling harrier. There's no one at my club that is in to 3D (mostly all warbird or scale guys). One guy said the thing he was most impressed about was how slowly you can intentionally fly it when 3Ding. On a calm day, it's unreal how slowly it flies. Almost looks like a simulator. I cannot wait to try the 48. Most of the guys at my club are in to high speed passes with the P47s and strykers

That's what I love about them. I'm not big on high-speed or even massive vertical abilities. I like when a big plane can be flown so slowly that I could almost walk behind it.

PS...i like the robotech avatar.

The one problem i have with the DWs is that I can't quite make the transition over to my large balsa models. I can hover the 40 juka all day. But i'm not even close to getting it with my 71 slick or 74 Edge.

It will save you a lot of repairs, even in grass. My nose on the bottom is all pieces but still holds together just fine with a flat bottom.

I've had a couple. They're fun planes, fun to flop them around.

Speaking of flop... Is Flop Gun still around here?????

Also got a flight in on the Juka this afternoon. This airplane is dying a slow death I feel. Every flight it feels more and more sloppy. Or maybe that's just a rusty operator.. Not sure..

Thank you. I thought I had all my bases covered and then I was thinking that I read somebody talking of the need for extensions.

Uh oh I hope it won't give me buyers remorse. Can you comment on size?
