LOL. I love my 25% balsa planes but there's nothing like taking my DW to the park 2 minutes from my house and not worrying about crashing it.
I am with ya on that one. I also live like 3 minutes away from a Local Park and it's such a relief to not always have to go to a Dedicated Flying field. I can just bring my Foamies to park and have just as much fun,..

55" Baf genx

For the flying I do, I really wouldn't want anything else

i'm really interested to see the difference between the 40 and 48 inch models. I've only had 40" DWs up to now. Mike said people often tell him the 48s fly like a 40% model.

Like Santiago said, and I say, they are a ton of fun to fly. I haven't had my 48" out in a while, been playing wth smaller stuff. But when I do it is SWEET!

That is true. In fact it may be worth considering moving up to the 55" model. Either the Yak or the Baf genx. Now those are a joy to Fly. It's like a Giant Foamy. Once u get one, you will be hooked.

The 48" is actually pretty big i must say. i flew one and it was almost the same feel as the 55".....i am also considering the Y54 48" since i never actually owned one. Did you get the electric package from DWfoamies? as well? Motor, servos, esc,,etc?

got the airframe, Landing gear, and motor from DW. But I'm using my own servos and ESC (HS-65MGs and ZTW). I was originally thinking of the extra. But Mike said the Y54 is very neutral when setup correctly and a great platform to fine tune those rollers
