thanks! im using the mamo models upside down prop with a t-motor 2008 and a castle 10amp esc,servos are futaba 3114s all the way around,for the batt im using a TP 325mah 65c,and the plane is a 34 inch DW extra 330 milled

heres my new DW,its the 22 inch yak 55.I took all the electronics out of my old strykerand put it on this.Its so much fun to fly! I let a few people fly it at the last indoor and everyone said it was the best micro they had ever flown,with the eflite motor and the 200mah batt. the stryker comes with i get about a 7 min of hard flying!

Think I just found the next plane I want

Now to just find a beat-up Stryker...and a 1.7g HK rotary servo.

the beast electronics also work really well.for my next one i want to try the AS3X on it to see what it feels like on a foamie

I didn't realize it was all linear servos, though. Not a fan of those!

why? im getting about 40 to 45 degrees of throw on all my surfaces

They seem to get jittery and are a little more finicky than the rotary servos. I guess they're cheaper, but I'm not even sure about that.

I have these in my micro threlon and I love them,super light ,really good torque and best of all they are CRAZY fast! I also used them in a really light 34 inch plane ( DW 34 inch raven) and they worked really good

There ya go. I'd think about buying this one and redoing the connections for the AR6400.

Loving my 22" Juka and 23" Threlon for the indoor season. Both great planes!

After having jitter issues with those iddy biddy HK servos, I replaced them with these New Power 2g servos from epbuddy.com.

These center way better and have way better resolution than the HKs. Only bad thing is you have to replace the connector if you are using one of the DW nano RXs. I haven't had any issues with the New Power servos and actually ended up buying a bunch more of various sizes for other projects. All have been good out of the box and I haven't had an issue with one yet. Best part is they ship (fast) from the US.

They ship usually next day too. I ordered some more servos this Wednesday, they shipped on Thursday, and I got them in my mail box today (standard USPS).

Oh yea, one other thing... The control arms on the epbuddy 2g servos are shorter than the HK ones. I ended up making my own servo arm extensions out of a tiny piece of 1/64 ply. Or you could use the inner hole on the control surface arm. I wanted as little slop as I could get in the control assembly so I chose to add servo arm extensions instead...

They have a bunch of bigger servos too in nice size increments for smaller foamies. I put some of the XLD-9HMB servos in my combat scratch built I just made. They seem to be very solid.

I ordered a DW Foamies 28" Extra last week because I needed another plane to build. It's not here yet, so I'm bored (and I don't want to do any work). So I took some photos and weights for anyone interested...

EDIT: The non-metal gear 9g servos have a ton of slop in the gear train. I would stay away from that servo. The metal gear 9g servos are great.

I'm not as anal as some, but I really like stuff that just "works". I really haven't enjoyed any of my experiences with HK, and prefer to order from a US based supplier (even if the product is made in china). All of my experiences with epbuddy.com (I think I've ordered from them 5 times now) have been very good (super fast shipping as I noted before), and the servos they are offering seem to be very good too.

PS Really like my two iCharger 106B+ that I got from epbuddy as well. They have tons of great products for parallel charging multiple batteries on one charger as well.
