Totally off-topic...I'm actually out here in Portland for a week. Not sure what my schedule will be like, but how's the flying out here?

Not sure about Portland, but down south of there in Norcal were going out flying tomorrow morning as the following few days the rain and wind are coming back.
I'm flying my 40 extra 300L and my new flying friend is bringing his Juka.

can you guys remind me, if it rolls to the gear side in KE flight, that mean nose or tail heavy?

It may be Nose heavy! You might want to push the battery location a bit back(towards the tail direction) and try flying it at mid stick. See if the plane flys level at 50% throttle.

Yesterday it was superb here south of Seattle (about 170mi north by car) and I got 8 packs drained (Juka and my EF Edge 540T). Today its overcast but zero wind. Might be an excellent day for the big bird.

On another note, here is a video from Daniel Holman, one of our Northwest favs, from last weekend shot about 145 miles Northeast of Portland:

EXTREME FLIGHT 60" EDGE 540T EXP in the snow (7 min 57 sec)

To keep it all "DW" I did get a new version of the 40" Juka this week and gotta say I like the new fuse and all 9mm foam.

Cheers!
