3.7 is the average resting voltage per cell. Fresh off the plane, each cell is around 3.4v or so.

Oh yea? The cells rebound a bit higher after resting? I thought unloaded was unloaded. I tried to keep the cells at 3.7 right after the flight. Guess I could go a bit lower.

Don't know why, but after the packs have cooled down for about 10 minutes, their voltage will come up a bit, so you should be fine flying for another minute or so.

I like to keep my packs up over 11v when measured after landing. And run time depends on flying style. If you like uplines and WOT passes you will eat up more pack.

I often do a fast charge so start with packs at 12.4. I use 1000mah packs and set my timer to 6:30.

Both great! Juka will waterfall a bit better and overall, has a bit more athority in 3D. The su29 will have the edge in precision flying. It turns true, and tracks a bit better than the Juka. Both are great, and both have strong/weak points.

Jholen, yeah, I haven't flown my SU-29 yet but it's very similar to the Yak. I will get some time with it any day now.

I agree with Michael on the Yak/Su29 being great 3D and precision balance, and also that the Juka is the 3D king. If you're a non-expert, the dEPPron fusion planes are a great choice as the thicker fuse slows 'em down more and it's ridiculously easy to hover. And with the EPP you will fly lower and more aggressive 3D.

Yeah I know.. even after owning one of the early designed 38" Extras and one of the 40" Edges, I still think I liked the feel of the Juka that you let me take the sticks of..

There's this one. This is the 2-cell version of the Threlon. I run 2 inexpensive single cel packs in series.

Not that one in the video, but DW has an even
smaller Micro
that uses 1-cel.
