I don't think the LP5DSM is a DSM2 radio, in which case it won't bind to the AR6110E.

Just checked, it is low powered but a DSM2 radio. In the blade CX3 it is paired to a AR6100e.

Yes your ESC will plug into the throttle port and you will need to "Y" extension your ailerons.

Yes it is bound. It has DSM3 technology. I am waiting on a DX6I my buddy sent in to get fixed so who knows how long that will take. I thought I would need a "Y" connector thanks!

If it went in to horizon, they are usually pretty quick and I would say finish the build and wait for the DX6I. So you can set up proper rates, end points and expo. You would also not need to use a "Y" harness. Left Aileron will go into Aux 1 port.

I have been flying DW foamies for about three years, just got my new 40in juka.I want to make it my best build yet.I see that everyone paints before you assemble the plane.My question is do you avoid painting where the ca goes or does the ca bond through the paint.

Welcome phoenix! Yes, CA will bond over paint. I paint them before asembling because you can lay the serface flat and there is a lot less to mask off. all around it just seems to be a lot easyer.

Yeah, the wing you can glue together- tape the ailerons on from the bottom, as well as all of the fuselage pieces.

Thanks Michael for the info.I have been painting with the plane assembled
it is harder to paint.

I hinge my ailerons top side. I think the instructions say to do that but its all preference.

That wasn't exactly what I was talking about, but okay.

What I was talking about is taping the ailerons in place using masking tape on the bottom, so you can spray them up and get a good flowing look, THEN bevel and hinge like normally.
