There is speculation of a $5 price tag. I'm sure it will be well below $10 though.

If These work well they will sell so quickly.

I wonder what the voltage that they run on is?

The wires and the plug both need to be lightened.

I think my Spektrum gear is probably lighter, but I haven't checked.

Okay, I've just checked. The Spektrum linear servo is 1.5 grams.

The Spektrum stuff is about $20 bucks or so if I remember right, so $5 would be very nice.

It would be nice if everyone stuck to the same plugs and pin outs or whatever you want to call the sequence of wires in the plug.

I love competition. It tends to drive prices down and provide better and sometimes smaller gear.

If they lighten the wires and plugs, a few of these will find their way into my shopping cart once they are in stock.

Sweet! I like the horn on that MUCH better then the PZ. Many of the 50% Shumate Pushers I have built I have to cut a nasty hole to get the horn to even be flush with the foam. These will allow me to just slot the foam and cleanly mount the servo on the inside....

Just what I like.

Thanks for the heads up.

I think this is a brilliant design, IF they'll sell the motor and slider part separate as a spare. Then if the liner potentiometer or the gearing fail you can replace it without having to buy a whole servo.

Now we can mount them anyway due to the long horn, so we wont foul the gears! You can just convert to micro-JST. I might go for these!

A std. JR plug with 5" of Wire weighs over 1.2g, so I'll bet "2g" is typical HK weight (no wires or connector) so the real servo as pictured will weigh closer to 3g.

I'm still all over it at $6 each, though, especially if they work on 5v.
