Was out today and ran one pack on the bike. A lot of snow is coming so it may be a while before getting the bike back out.

Yeah!! I actually used my bike for the first time in 2 years today. The tires were so hard that it looked like it was on ice, and the glue basically did the job of a lazy union worker and stopped doing anything as soon as I stopped paying attention to it. GOOD TIMES!! quick tune up and a fresh set of wheels and tires and she is good to go!

Yesterday was the Annual meeting of the Greek RC forum www.modelteam.gr at my local track, FRT. Over 110 people attended, mostly with cars, trucks, monsters , Baja's, 1/5 LS, drift, and all, and a few showed up with flying models. Despite the sunny and rather warm (at 13*C) weather it was unbelievably windy, so only a couple dared fly, and I dared a couple of laps with the SB5!. , Due to the wind it was almost undriveable; it was taken across the track and I had maybe 5 crashes per lap! I also ran the Anderson up and down, but it was also easily blown away!

I took a lot of bikes with me, all ready to run with various radios:
SB5 (13.5T Stock), Anderson (4300kv), KP10 (17.5T), Venom (HW5200), Kyosho HOR (brushed/lipo), Kyosho Mini-z!
Across me sat Mr. Kyosho Greece trying to fix his own Mini-z bike. Eventually we never ran the Kyoshos, again due to the wind!

Yesterday (yes, Monday morning!) I had a meeting with a friend who will do a documentary on RC Bikes for a Greek web-tv site. So, of course I brought along all my bikes, settled them on the pit table of my local track, we did the interview, and then ran a few bikes around to capture videos.
I ran mostly the SB-5 Stock bike, the KP10 of the RC Bike Worlds 2010 fame, now with a 17.5T motor, the Kyosho Mini-z, the Anderson M5 on road and in the adjacent offroad track and the Kyosho HOR Honda with a brushed Tamtech and a lipo.
It was good fun in the sun...
The site of the TV is at www.dottv.gr and I expect "my" video to appear some time in the next two weeks.

After the brushless big bikes, and even the mini-z, the HOR was painfully slow, so I only did 8-s infront of the camera! But it's always a joy to watch the H-O-Rider move around!

Well... Simon, it's like living in a golden cage... ALONE!

After months of playing with my dirt bikes i got the urge to hit the track with my modded silverlit Kawasaki Ninja running a losi 10250kv motor & esc with direct steer leaning rider & custom chassis with twin oil filled rear shocks on 2S & it still amazes me how good these bikes are to ride, i found it very relaxing just cutting some laps.
