Futaba 9cap twin engine throttle/rudder mixing.
I've been reading through the forums for the past week now, trying to find info on how to set up throttle/rudder mixing for a twin engine Canadiar CL 215 water bomber.
I'm using a Futaba 9c radio with a Hitec supreme 8ch/dual conv.. receiver, found lots of info on other brands but no luck for Futaba.
Here is the complete set up for this plane;
Futaba 9cap radio
Hitec Supreme 8ch/dual conv.. receiver
2- Axi 4130-16 motors
2- E-flite 60 amp pro ESC
2- 4000mah 14.8v lipos
2- 3 blade 13x8 counter rotating props
4- hitec 425 servos (flaps, ailerons)
2- hitec 485 servos (rudder, elevator)
1- y harness for the flaps
What I would like to achieve is steering control through the two motors while taxiing, using the rudder stick, and be able to switch it off before getting up on step so the rudder stick only affects the rudder in flight.
If anyone knows where I can find this info, or if you know how to set up the Futaba 9c for this type of mix, I would sure be happy to hear from you.
Thanks for your time and trouble.

leave radio in mode 2 as it comes, rudder in 4, ailerons and elevs in 1 and 2 as normal, flaps on 5, then a vtail mixer linked to 3 and 6, plugging your esc's into vtail mixer.
picture the set up like your stereo, volume is throttle, ballance is like ch6, in the middle eaqual power, then as you move the ballance left or right, your speakers respond like wise with more sound out of one speaker than the other. as you move ch6 from centre, the two esc's will offer different power in relation to eachother.

I'm going to have to switch things around a little.
Right now I have; ch 1 on right aileron, ch 2 on elev.., ch 3 throt,
ch 4 on rudder, ch 5 on right and left flaps, ch 6 on left aileron, ch 7 is unused, bat.. connected to battery.
I was thinking ch 7 would be for the second ESC and then somehow do a mix between ch 3,4 and 7, and then asign an on/off switch to turn off the mix to the rudder once the plane was up and flying.
I'll have to add a v-tail mixer to my next order, maybe I should get two,,,, and add a v-tail sailplane to that order too :-)
What brand of mixer should I be looker for?

How do I get rudder control stick to change the RPMs to the motors for steering, if I'm using ch3 and ch6 for the v-tial mixer? Do I programe a mix between ch 4, 3 and 6, and which ch is the master and slave?
