You should be able to fly for over an hour with the Calaris....that thing glides forever on landing approach. Add flapperons ....that gets it down much faster.

Youtube has a video of FPV on a Stryker but also more with FPV on Funjets. Not really sure one is better than the other for FPV though unless one makes mounting the camera easier. Funjet might be more sensitive to inputs as daddiozz has said.

I prefer my Radian to the Stryker for FPV ,but the Stryker is (obviously)doable.

I do not see any recent conversation. I have a great flying fieldwith wide open spaces
and a level flying field. It has a packed dirt landing strip. It is NOT AMA approved field.
So, I am flying FPV there. It is one mile past exit 24 on RT 985 directly across the hwy from YMCA. There are many guys flying there.

I am the only one with a camera in a plane there flying. I have a T-28 with a 1400 turnigy motor. I have new equipment coming in the next few days that will solve my
problems with a dipole antenna..that is a Patch antenna with all the trimmins and anew
camera to replace this heavy bullet camera that is more appropriately used for security
work than flying a plane.

Also just bought a P-51 foam construction with 57inch wings and retracts. Plan to put a camera in that plane. It has a 4 blade prop so I will put 2 4cell lipo's in paralell to increase the flying time. I plan to fly it high.

I would love to team up with some one who knows what they are doing.

I do not use goggles, because I wear glasses. So I bought a 26 inch LED screen and
have hung it on the passenger side of my F-150 pick up. I FLY IN AIR CONDITIONED COMFORT...I hope.

Hi Ken...

I've flown in that field -- it's a great place to fly! I was there on a Sunday a couple of weeks ago but it was just me and another guy and a couple spectators.

I'd like to go back up real soon. This weekend is no good, but certainly next weekend might work.
