glycol smoke unit for tank, etc
Clip of bench test of a smoke unit. 12V, 1.8A. 1-5/8' dia. x 3" tall. Glycol based "fog" fluid lasts about an hour.
Clip doesn't show the smoke too well, but it des put out a good amount .

The "fog juice" is commercial fog fluid by LeMaitre. Its a blend of deionized water, propylene glycol, ethylene glycol and triethylene glycol. Cheap fluids (industrial grade glycerol or just propylene glycol) give smoke that doesn't "hang" well and they also gum up the heater element pretty quickly.
