For those coming from out of the area who want to experience a great hamburger and having a waitress who is a nurse with no medical training plan on joining us in Chandler Arizona for dinner at the Heart Attack Grill. This is a goodly drive away from the flying field and it will be on Thursday night so as not to compete with after session speed runs or night flying. We went last year but our wives asked us to keep those pictures private. Here are some pictures from their website. The food is great but I am wimping out and getting a single bypass this year with some flatliner fries. No way I can handle even a double much less a quad bypass.
Warning: Don't order a diet anything! 1) They don't have it. 2) You'll be sorry.

Hummmm, Chandler eh? That's not too far from my side of town....might just make it!

We are aiming to be there at 7:00. We got there from highway 10 last year, took the Chandler BLVD exit and drove east to 6185 W Chandler Blvd. Recommend you Google map it from where you are going to stay as there are several major highways near it. It closes at 8:30. You eat free if you weigh 350 pounds or more but drinks might be extra. The food is not cheap but even our wifes admitted it tasted very good.

Though I won't be flying at AEF, I've not been to HAG in a while. Even without the "atmosphere", the burgers are pretty good. The buns are really what make them good.

Remember to bring in a small plane to the restaurant for a free picture* of a nurse in your lap holding your plane while you sit in their wheel chair after eating the flat liner fries. I will have a small portable printer with me on the trip and will have the pictures for you on Friday.

*You should probably tip your "nurse."

I don't know if I will make it but here are a couple of tips from today:

1. Cash only, no card accepted. Before you run and pay 3 bucks to get money out of the bank across the parking lot, they have their own ATM inside.

2. Only drinks available are Water, Coke in a Glass Bottle, Budweiser and Corona need anything else and you are out of luck.

3. Single Burger is enough. Had a double cheese and it was just overwhelming.

Also, one other tip. Don't even THINK about trying to order a diet soda. For one, they don't have it. For two, they'll throw you out for asking. No joke.
