New Years Day Fun Fly: two fields, one event!
Because somebody has to do it...we'll be at the 407 field in Lewisville and Eastfield College in Garland for a new years day fun fly. Come out and fly, show off that soaring loot Santa brought!
At 407 we'll begin at 12:00 PM
At Eastfield it's 1:00 PM
PM me if you need directions to the fields.
And while were at it, those with wood will be competing in the postal woodie contest here on RCGroups
To all world wide it is time to get ready for the new year.
So on that note I will be holding the New Years Day Postal Contest!
The contest will be here on this thread on RC Groups. Please spread the word to all your club friends!
Here are the guide lines that we all should follow!
Unlimited flights to get to the goal Longest thermal flight wins!
In the spirit of the old days the plane needs to be constructed of WOOD!
The span can be any size.
Glass fuse OK.
"Sniffers" Don't need one!
Only one flight counts!
Please no slope flights
The winner gets a trophy! It will be small!
Added Note: If there is a tie for the longest flight of the day - the flight made at lowest temperature wins.
The flying site with the lowest temperature of the day deserves a mention as well.
