Help!
HZ super mini cub or TG super cub? HELP!!

Hello all,

To begin , i'm a complete rc car enthusiast and i've decided to start flying! Really i need a good strong beginners plane which i can still have a lot of fun with. I have particular interest in two models in my budget but reading articles ans scanning youtube LOL, is making the choice difficult. the 2 models are the Top Gun park flite super cub and the hobby zone super mini cub.

+ i've got plenty of space to fly but is fairly windy, consideration for this would be helpful.

Please Help!!!!

I'm gonna have to make a permanent file to post to you Brits about the TGSC-you seem to flock to it like lemmings.

One word - DON'T!

More words-fragile foam, poorly set up (not good for newbies), low end electronics-all of them, powerful motor with a noodle shaft that bends with a dirty look, REALLY crummy charger (like dangerous) and landing gear that is so poor as to be criminal.

It APPEARS cheaper but after you bust it (absolutely for sure) it'll be harder to fix and parts will be more expensive IF you can get them. You absolutely HAVE to incorporate repair as part of your training budget. Ask ANY flier.

NOT, repeat, NOT a good trainer.

Look at the multiplex easy star. It's tough and handles wind better than both of your choices.

The mini SC will blow away in wind, is more fragile, and harder to work on. Tiny planes in general are just harder to learn on usually.
