There used to be adds for a model of the Dianna Hull in Live Steam Magazine, but I don't know if they are still there. From My Old Boatshop by Weston Farmer has the original plans if I remember correct, but I can't find any web site that is showing it.
Regards,
Gerald.

Hi Peter,
If you are making your own you should consider stretching the length to beam ratio. If I remember it is 4 to 1 as drawn, and in an article I read Weston Farmer said that if he was designing it again he would increase it to 5 to 1 to give a better handling boat with a higher speed for the same size engine and boiler. Keep us posted on how you do with this.
Regards,
Gerald.

I just received this:
http://www.hartmanmodelboats.com/HMBDIANA.htm
"You'll find no more graceful or beautiful steamboat model than the DIANA. Modeled in fiberglass reinforced polyester resin. Planking, boot top and deck seams clearly incised. The length overall is 50" and the beam is 13". HULL AND DECK IN WHITE GELCOAT."
Regards,
Gerald.

www.modelcomponents.com.au

Australian manufacturer - sells boilers, burners, feedwater pumps and is closely involved with Miniature Steam - www.miniaturesteammodels.com - makers of a whole range of model steam engines.

Model Components (deal with Greg) is a pleasure to deal with. Very knowledgeable, quick delivery dates and stock always in hand. If you have burner issues they will have a solution.

21' launch

Hi guys. Been reading all the post and pix of the steamer projects and decided might as well do a real one with all the hours required to make a model. Got involved with a boat that needed some work and spent several months stripping out all the damaged wood to replace, bead blast all the metal and revarnish. We launched it in June and are having a hoot.
