Images of the progression - Bring out the Carbon Graphite!!!

I've also replaced the huge servo with a high torque spektrum servo, Novak XXl rx, fail safe unit, a new carb and exhaust instead of the original OPS ones. (I know it's not perfectly original but this will be the 'PB Mustang MMX' version (2010), plus I am keeping the original parts for reference. What else..... Oh new clutch shoes and springs.

All gear boxes are now in pieces and being cleaned and re-greased, brake shoes and disks are being replaced and all bearings checked for wear and a dam good clean. It's getting there people, watch this space. Don't actually know if I will be able to bring myself to run this thing once it's done but we'll see... Perhaps organise a UK PB Mustang day somewhere in a field to have a thrash around? Any suggestions gratefully received.

Found a few more images of the mustang on international Ebay sites. A bit too pricey for my pocket, even for spares. However they are out there for sale and resto, there's hope yet!

My project hasn't gained much momentum but is getting there. Still don't know if I'll ever have the heart to run this beast!

I do have a question though. Anyone got any spur gears spare. The twin speed spurs on my mustang are trashed?

Hi All,
I'm new to this group, and new to the mustang. Just picked up a PB Xi2 I believe... and she needs some help.
Needs a new chassis - the one on it was made by the last owner, and it is too short...
So - Unless someone has one to sell me, I think I'll have to make one.

If anyone could give me the specs that would be awesome.

Alternatively, could someone give me the precise measurement from the center of a rear wheel to the center of the same side front wheel (wheelbase specs, I think that is.... told you, a newbie).

I have some PB Mustang X3 parts that I want to sell, if anybody is interested.

PB32C Two Speed Pack, including the #13/130A Gearbox, Flywheel, spur gears




PB32B Center Diff. Ltd. Slip, complete and sealed




The above packets come with Mustang X3 assembly manuals.

(2 ea) Part# 46/100A "Differential Packs S.C. (not really sure what SC means).



Lastly, (3 ea) Drive belts (not sure where they're for), Part# 13/405. 2 are red, one is black.
