Very well done. Would be perfect for Quadcopters, as there is no need for pan.

Are you planning to sell them?

Could you make it lighter by removing the spacers inside the box construction? If you glued the plywood it should be more than strong enough and you would probably drop a few ounces in the process. Maybe one or two bulkheads would be required but it should still work out to be lighter.

True, you can to bond it. This will save you approximately 30-40g weight.
The aim was to develop but a construction which is easily repaired in damage.
And so we succeeded. The assembly as a kit takes about 1 hour.
Now you you can calculate how long a repair takes

I see your point, repair would be difficult without the screws.

Hi zaguruinzasky

Why wood and non Carbon, simply because of the weight.
A Carbon variation but there are also.
See here :

Hi txflyboys2,

The price is 239,- Euro for wood and at 279,-Euro for carbon.
This is around 344.40 USD for wood and 402.10 USD for Carbon.
