Please go to the new improved thread> http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1172332

To any mods looking at this, this thread needs to be deleted because it has become way too messy.

I've started this thread so we will have a place where all the currently available 30mm to 40mm brushless fans are. I have posted the ones I know of. If you know of others, please post links. Please only post if you have a link in order to keep this thread neat and organized. So here's what I've got to get us started.

For a start you cannot delete posts in a public forum.

The 1015 is the Turnigy 10mm inrunner from Hobby King. So called because it has a 10mm diameter and is 15mm long.

Perhaps you could be a little more polite to our fellow edf buddies?....

You're right Nitro. I thought you could delete posts in your own thread but I guess not. The reason I only want people to post that have links to a product is so that we can keep this thread neat and organized so that newcomers looking into building their first edf jet can easily find what they need without having to search. In fact, once you've read this, I'm going to delete this post. Sorry if I was a bit rude.

EDIT: Wait, can I even delete my own posts?

Request 'report this post.....' and ask the post be deleted as 'off topic' . Explain why. Better include this post too

You can't remove them completely, but if you delete all the text and leave 3 characters (say, ***) you'll end up with a post with only *** in it!

I asked the mods to delete these posts but they haven't done anything yet. I think I will probably end up starting over with a new thread since this one is not off to a very good start. Now there are several posts that are distracting from the purpose of this thread which is to be an organized place where micro edf newcomers can find everything they need about power systems in one place. Can we please refrain from posting off topic material and use private messages instead?

If I'm not mistaken the Turnigy 1015 in a GWS EDF 30 is the least expensive solution, how durable is it running on 2S lipo? And can you run 2 of these little guys on one brushless controller or do you need 2 controllers?

I've heard that they get pretty hot on 2S. I'm sure you would be better off with two controllers. Take a look at this thread for more info. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1107878

Since the mods still have done nothing, I will start a new thread now. Boredom.is.me, would you kindly repost your your links in the new thread? I would do it for you, but I figured you would rather repost it yourself.

Which of the mods were you hoping would do something?

These are the micro edf forum mods: jbourke, Jim T. Graham, Mike Kolesnikov, HaleyB, Sleepyc, Angela H

Completely inappropriate mods for the forum, I think.
