Looks great. Good work on both products.
It's nice to see innovation every time.

Does your Antenna Tracker work automatically with the data downloaded from the airplane or is it operated manually. How are you sending the telemetry, on the video or audio feed? Does it need a computer to operate?

I think he doesn't understand that "slip rings" means several concentric rings and a series of contacts that brush against those rings, which carry independent electrical signals.

A little more here.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slip_ring

Right you are Ian... I was unfamiliar with the term in this context.

I'm sure it works but I'm not going to trust moving mechanical contacts to carry any of my failesafe electronic signals.

That was a rude dismissal Tarro... You got a problem?

I was interested in the technology, and it is not for me... that's all...

We should all "move on" from that type of inhospitable behavior Tarro, bro. Please do your part to keep these conversations civil... Thanks.

My sincerest apologies Workshop, I did not mean to hurt your feelings. I am glad I did not put that little "" thingy in my post like you did when dismissing this innovative new product. Your tears falling on your keyboard might have shorted out your computer, again I am sorry.

Those Moog slip rings are pretty high quality items. It's nice having the 6 channels.

It's a common application in Radar antennas and other things that continuously rotate. Proven technology, not cheap but a great way to prevent a bunch of twisted knotted (broken) wires.

The plane looks awesome, like something we've all designed in our heads.

Nice work, myflydream!! We all like innovation.
