One you find out how to get these to the USA, let us know when/where the OSD, tracker, and plane can be bought. Excellent products. Well done.

slip rings, he use that
That is not the question.... How does he commutate the electrical signals... It looks like twisted wire inside the canister... that is NOT continious rotation.

I have to describe it again. the slip ring IS INSIDE the "canister", the wires you have seen is the output wires of the slip-ring. The slip-ring is an electronic part that designed for this purpose.

Maybe I haven't made the video clear enough to show the "continious rotation" feature? The slip ring has six channels. I have used 5 of them: POWER,GND,VIDEO OUT,AUDIO OUT, CONTROL SIGNAL. Any user can use the last channel if he want. for example, sending the RC transmitter PCM signal.

Again, It's REAL continious rotation.

I think he doesn't understand that "slip rings" means several concentric rings
and a series of contacts that brush against those rings, which carry independent
electrical signals.

A little more here.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slip_ring

The OSD is not required. You can drive the tracker via a simple serial open protocol. But my FDOSD make all things easy and simple if you don't want to spend a lot of time on it.
