I bought the first on iTunes just to make sure. It was worth watching but an embarrassment to the franchise

We went to see Pi in 3D tonight. Very much enjoyed it. The visual effects were stunning, and the story was very true to the book.

The kids saw Rise of the Guardians. They seemed to enjoy that too.

Saw "The Hole" with my daughters last night via Netflix. Never even heard of it but it made for some scary/funny moments with the kids.

Just did the Abe Lincoln killing vamps movie on DVD. I liked it! Was a fun movie and the guy that played Abe did a right respectable job.

Just been to see The Hobbit.... hmmmm... it was OK.

A little too much CGI, and running from place to place, but OK.. (I liked the eagles )

Where does it end in the story?

I don't quite get why The Hobbit will be cut up into three movies -- it was only a 300 page book.

Sending the kid to see the Hobbit tomorrow. She's read the story.

Total Recall was a pretty good Sci-Fi flick. They referenced the original in interesting ways and it was chock full of action. Overall, I enjoyed it.

Just watched it again and liked it even more. The reviewers were wrong

Seen the Hobbit flick. Lots of slap stick and stretching of material. It didn't seem as long as it actually was so i can't say i disliked it. Not as good as any of the other three in the series.

I did see Lawless on DVD and it was a great movie

To be elaborate on the Hobbit a bit, I did enjoy the fella that played Bildo and he did a great job of making the character likable and quite funny. Especially the original meeting with Gandalf. I LOL'd a few times there.

The one thing I did not care for was the feel of the scene with the Trolls BBQ'n the Dwarves. Seemed a bit too slap stick and out of place. The scenes with Gollum were perfect though it was hard for me to make out some of the dialog.
