George Harrison's Bio, Paul is really Dead. This has to be one of the worst movies ever made.
Looking up a few facts blows it out of the water.
I had to turn it off about 5 times before getting thru it at the wife's insistance.

3.5/5 Good movie. Nice 3d cinematography and an unusual/interesting storyline.

Let's see now....How best to describe this movie? Campy with an overindulgence of gratuitous wall to wall violence. Yet it all works, as if the sum of the parts is greater than etc etc etc............

2 thumbs up. (4 stars for the entertainment factor)

I saw Inception last night. It was okay. I expected it to be a lot better than it was.

Agreed on inception. No where near as momentous as reported around the media

The Tourist blows chunks. No reason to see it. Not one.

Sorry to ruin it for you, but don't go. The reviews are accurate.

I saw it earlier this year, fun movie!

Saw Restrepo over the weekend. Junger does a great job of telling the stories of Restrepo without any commentary. Awesome movie.

I took two grandsons 11 and 5 to see the third Narnia series. The older liked it immensely and the younger pretty much so. I'm a grumpy old man who doesn't get into sci fi so taking them was for their benefit, not mine though I mildly enjoyed the movie.

It is the second 3D movie (it is available in 2D as well) I've seen and caused me to conclude 3D is not worth the extra money.

I'm still a bit perplexed by why their parents don't let them see Harry Potter but yet Chronicles of Narnia is all right. They seem very similar to me. Any one know what that is about?

Maybe because Narnia has Christian overtones and Harry Potter is about wizards and magic?
I know some Christian parents that dont let their kids watch or read Harry potter movies and novels, could that be the reason?
I'm agnostic, so I could not care less. Both are good entertainment for kids over 5 if you ask me....

Could be... Narnia has good vs evil with good triumphant. I've not seen Harry Potter so can't compare. There was a good bit of spells and magic in the third Narnia movie however. I reminded the younger that it was a fiction movie and made sure that he understood that fiction meant a story that wasn't true that might have dragons and the like in it and it and that dragons were imaginary animals.

Like you, I'm agnostic. My wife and her two children and the grandkids are evangelicals. I get the issue about magic and spells but Narnia had all that so I'm not getting the difference between the two unless Harry Potter doesn't show that goodness wins in the end.
