Saw "Robin Hood" (Russel Crowe, Kate Blanchet...) couple nights ago. It was well worth the $1 from the Redbox.

We watched the director's cut version which was an option that could be selected when starting the DVD. Don't know how that compares with the theatrical version.

Unstoppable with Denzel Washington. A bit slow at the beginning, but not bad at all.....

I saw this on a flight back from India.. Maybe I was jet lagged but I found the plot highly contrived almost impossible to follow. Seemed to me like the 'plot' was there simply to provide a vehicle to show off a bunch of special effects. On the positive side the special effects were very impressive!

One thumb up and one down from me....

"Unstoppable" Very predictable and uninspiring storyline/acting, however.....fantastic cinematography and train wreck sequencing/special effects. I guess as the above poster says "One thumb up and one down from me....."

I watched that a couple weeks ago. It's not really my type of movie, but I rather enjoyed it.

Not new but one of the best movies I've seen recently:

"Adaptation" starring Nicholas Cage, Meryl Streep, Chris Cooper...directed by Spike Jones.

If you like dialogue, independent type flicks this is a must see. The screenplay itself is like nothing you'd expect...typical of Spike Jones.

Just saw "Conviction" last night, starring Hilary Swank.
Dragged out a little, but not bad. Based on a true story.

The movies these days suck period. I was watching the "jerk" the other day... and thought how much i miss the old movies where almost everything went... and comedy was real comedy.

I watched Preditors the other night. I'd give it 2 out of 5. Worth a Netflix watch though.

If you don't have Netflix you really should get it. Sooooo nice.

Toy Story 3, 3D. Awesome. I don't know how they manage to make each TS excellent, but they do. Barbie and Ken are the best.
