30mm edf speed model
Here's a few pictures of my 'Micro-minx'.
It is powered by a Feigao 7500kV inrunner and a 3s 240mAh pack. AUW 112g.
The shroud is homemade and the rotor is a KP32 item trimmed to 30mm. The reduction in size from the 32mm of the stock KP32 is a pity but was neccessary to comply with the 30mm speed rules.
1) Thin wings.
2) Minimum frontal area.
3) Minimum intake size.
4) Weight kept to minimum.
5) No exposed linkages.
6) Gloss finish.
The model as it stands has been dopplered at 76mph.
