You guys are wasting your time, no way this can be any fun.

Build yourself a proper Stryker....... Spend a few hundred bucks on the latest and greatest motor and gear, bout 10 hours glassing and painting, another 40 hours arguing about the newest bad**s motor and prop on RC Groups.......

Looks like someone else has wasted their time on light weight Stykers (won't mention any names, but his pockets are dusty)...

(Hey, I like the chopper, Murman! )

Guess that shows the versatility of the Styker airframe, your choice, fast or slow and they do well. Interesting build on your fast Stryker, very well done.

Z3 Yes busted.... I really enjoy the lite Stryker. Easy to build, low cost and just simple fun for a "kick around" Parkflyer

I need to go grab a frame. Anything to look out for? Or they cut out pretty accurate?

Shoot...wonder how much difference in weight you get from one bare air frame to another.

Since we're going for light and all. Should i bring my scale?? Really tho?

Parkzone calls it a fuselage, although I think it's more wing than fuse... .

No, they're all pretty much the same. Just check to make sure there are no obvious warps - I got one that had a bad warp and didn't realize it until about the 3rd snap-roll!

As some of the guys have mentioned, the Stryker is such a versatile airframe your can build a variety of versions. I actually have four - see this old blog entry here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=724922

I fly my light Stryker indoors at an arena alot, but also find it great to fly in parks and confinded areas. I have flown it in people's back yards at parties etc and it has become quite the party piece

I think what you guys have done is amazing. Most people try to make the Stryker go two hundred miles an hour and make it a handful to fly. You daring people went the other way and made it a floating pussycat, now I'm looking at the old bones of the one I have laying in the corner with new ideas to try on it, totally one of those " Wow I coulda had a v-8 moment!"

Old Strykers never die... I've got one I affectionately call `Patches'!

And these light ones will last even longer.
