For those of us who enjoy/live multihulls, we are not that grateful after they dropped that class of boat ! Ahh well, I understand we may be on our way back soon - we hope.

Olympics

RC Sailing in the Olympics! No way. However if the IOMICA petitions the Olympic Federation to introduce "pub crawling" or "rum crawl" as an event our skippers might have a chance to medal. The US would have to fight for a Bronze. Barbados is an overwhelming favorite and if they do take Gold their likeness will be shown on a postage stamp...thats kind of cool. And those Aussies. Drinking in moderation is five pints before lunch.

Aussies would be out right favourites for that event, but then again it could fall into a heap like our swimming this year

Radio Sailing an Olympic Sport??

Gents,
I appreciate your comments but believe you represent some of the many obstacles to overcome. Your opinions are slowly becoming more unnecessary.
I hope for someone else to provide some constructive opinions. Failing this its probably best to close this thread that I have started and go back to what this forum is for, that being for IOM's.

I thought I would spend the time updating my blog profile on this site also. Enjoy!
