That would have been legal before the rule change as it is not a transmission,those little buzzers are a good alternatine for those without telemetry,if you can hear it .

I think if you already own a module based radio you can purchase the FrSky system as an insert for under $50,not 100% shure but worthy of research as i don't use this ,the aircraft guys say the system is rock solid 2.4ghz and extra recievers are cheap.Lots of information to be gleaned in the radio forum above.

3 More sleeps to go and the Perth Classic is on, held at Austin Lakes Estate a housing estate about 1 1/4 hours drive south of Perth Western Australia.
This will be the first ranking event that I will be unleashing the Lunatic at, over that last couple of weeks I have been racing at the Perth club and finishing top 4 which is un heard of for me so this hull is quick. I think it would be up the front with a more experenced skipper but Baryy has already shown that.

Will post a link for the results.

Hi guys, just thought I would put my 2cents worth in re the winch spool.
The guides which go to the yes( awkward access position of the winch) winch are spaced for a certain size drum. If you don't use the correct size the sheets will wear on the tubes and you will be eplacing them quicker than you should be.
Yes it's awkward, but Brad would have needed the winch in that position to get the balance correct. Yes it's awkward but one should have it so that attachment point of the sheets (on deck) come apart easily. I use a fishing clip and all ropes are tied by bowline so there's a loop for putting it back together easily. RMG SELL THE THUMB DRUM SCREW WHICH IS A MUST ..
I also have a small lever at hand to lift the drum off the winch slowly. Mark the point where your fishing clip is prior to lifting the drum off and you won't run everything through the block at the back of the boat when you turn the winch back on...
