Depron and I think the listed weight is quite a bit high. It should easily come in at 5oz

How much does it cost? Where do you purchase it? I did't see any info on the website about buying it.

I just finished building an Aeolus. It ended up at 126g, that is 4.5 oz.
I used a 13g motor, 6g ESC, Desirepower 250 mAh (17g).
I substituted the 1mm carbon leading edge for a 0.2 mm carbon.
Also I did not use the Depron torisionstiffeners on the fuse. The carbon trussing is sufficient.
Testflight is a few hours away. I`ll give my opinion later.

Thats a good weight. Maybe too light. I was going to not even use a leading edge spar. With a byplane of this size a spar is not needed. and I was planning on not using the the depron torsion stiffeners either. I feel the carbon trussing is very sufficient. Looking forward to your maiden report.

There is no such thing as to light.
The material in this model is not as stiff as Depron. This combined with the milling makes it, in my opinion, necessary to use a carbon leadingedge, allthough it can be very thin.
The testflight went well. Knifeedge is without any coupling. It felt light in the air but not as slow as I expected. The rollrate is amazing as is rudderauthority. Knifeedgeloops are effortless. Elevator feels a bit week. Corners could not bee made tight enough to fly the schedule. Cg felt okey in all other aspects but I will try moving it back a bit.
