12 is pretty early for Fermin this time of year Tom. 2pm is more like it. I hope you have better luck than we had last weekend. Blowing 40 but the park has about 200 classic cars parked on the grass and there was about 5000 poeple there gawking at the cars. The landing field was being used as a parking lot and they put a temp chain link fence around the grass. Believe it some guys still flew. I wuzzed out and went to Bluff.

hey Tom I'm looking at setting up a MoM race in my area based on ASRO rules. I tried to download the Excel scoring sheet that you all have on the website but it couldn't be found. Do you have a copy of this spreadsheet?

We are trying to be good neighbors and get finished by 4:30 so the locals can have their slope back.

We NEVER had a Fermin race in good winds and I hope we get lucky this weekend with the wind and park access.

The best F3F time at Fermin so far is 40.xx and I know mid to low 30's are very possible on a decent day at that site.

Shoe: Download any results sheet and replace the names.

TFLG: Get that Brisk charged and come kick some butt!

If you are planning to attend the F3F race this weekend please confirm by sending an email to tom@f3x.com. I need 12 pilots minimum to hold the race.

Well the F3F race at Fermin yesterday was entertaining. Most of you missed a fun afternoon. There were about 15 total that raced. The best part was watching some of the guys land the big ships at Fermin. The wind was less than stellar. I don't think it ever got above 15mph but that was plenty to race. Tom Copp and crew did a great job setting up the course and running a fast smooth event. He smoked our butts too winning every heat but I'm sure that was some kind of fluke.

Now the entertainment was watching guys land. Lets see.... One Miraj nailed a palm tree at the back of the landing field, Nathan lawn darted his Wizard into a lawn in front of one of the apartment buildings. One guy flying a 1980s vintage Jaguar clipped the telephone wires then bounced off a roof and landed on the porch. One plane bounced over the chain link fence and landed in the #2 lane of the street. Brian Buaas cracked up his brand new moldy (an NYX I think) on launch when the rotor spun him into the wall. There were many near misses on the palm trees too. I chucked my EPP P-51 off with the ailerons backwards, Jack got in a midair and ended up on the beach with Tim's P-51. I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff but needless to say it was an action packed afternoon.

How do you remove the "sticky" from this thread?

Thanks Mark!
