wave glider: that is a very clean look! could use some checkered board for that race theme, or that metal diamond plate stuff. (just the look of it ) with the peeling off the skin look. just curious as to how you finished the wing tips? any clear coat? paint on your fingers after a couple sals? i see you used the "grip tape" provided too. any adhesion issues or paint lifting?

Sharpie flames. Belly pan frosted with 400 grit. Velcro hatch for access to battery plug. Exactly 6 ounces. Flies great.

I know I am and do. Just moved from there after over 1/2 century for greener and cheaper pastures.

I will be building mine over the next few weeks and in travel mode for and like some of us, looking to keep it as light as possible while still retaining needed integrity. I am looking as some SAL and light lift at a few locations in SoCal, centered near HB/SB, in about 5 weeks.

hello! so i am done laying down the paint! all that is left is to clear coat the paint. i plan on putting a tad bit more on the tips for sals. good idea or bad? so the paint went down nice and easy! no bleeding issues! anything minor was pulled off with masking tape. i did have one scare after putting down the brown. on the top on the paint, there was brown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i did not cover the top as there was no way(so i thought) of getting paint on it! but i noticed it did not look paint lover spray like, nor was it on the bare white foam. so after i was fuming taking off the mask, i touched it... it came off!!!! i had no idea what it was. was not there prior to painting and i have taken great care with every step. perhaps dry paint that stuck to fingerprints? i have no clue.

so the pics show the inverted colors on top that i mentioned in my other posts. the new pod...lol and some very thin dof at f1.4, no flash at 1/50 sec shutter 1000 iso.

So itīs always a feeling of holiday when I see my Alula
And I donīt wanna dream always about CA but rather to come over there but unfortunately that must wait

TDisater: i fly at local parks in sussex county. one at brookside park off of 23 and anther called wantage rec off of 284. i also fly a tm 400 and two electrifly bipes. i have no idea where to slope the alula though! lol. ill find a place but for now sals, and lots of em!

i also clear coated the bird today. no masks, i let a little over spray on the bare foam. cant wait!

We've got a club just across the river on RT-209. It's in between the Dingman's and Milford Bridges. No good slopes though. Lots of hills and mountains, but nothing that isn't covered in trees.
