Talking Timer with Custom DX7 Mounting Bracket
Talking Timer with Custom DX7 Bracket
At my field Talking Timers are popular, so I throught I'd try one. I found this to be ideal for EDF flyers as you can get audible minute by minute countdowns as to time remaining, much better than just a static alarm.
A club member with skills and facilities made custom bracket that allow simple mounting of the Talking Timer to a DX7. I’ve shown it here mounted on my DX7 so you can get the idea of how the mounting arrangement works (radio not included).
I’ve pretty much given up high powered EDF’s and really don’t use this anymore. This is a great addition to a dedicated flyer who doesn’t like getting caught with a dead or dying pack on the far end of the field.
The last photo shows you what you get: the talking timer, the two peice DX7mounting bracket and stainless steel mounting hardware.
$20 shipped. CONUSA and PayPal only.
