Don't get me wrong. I was impressed with it and it works well, but compared to a GP750 or 2100T there is night and day differences.

Just as there is with Align vs clones. In a lot of respects they are very close, sometimes the clone is a cut above on certain things. However, at the end of the day the Align 250 is geniune and the clone is just a clone, and they just are not the same thing.
Obviously you don't own a 401 clone, I have the GP750 that came with my Trex 250 and it is not any better than the 401.

A trex is genuine and a copterX is better. It is all about preference, you like your MAC and I love my PC,

I have two of them actually. And niether is as good as my 750 or my 2100s. Moreover, 401s do not feel the same one to other.

I like the 2100s better than the 750s.

The 401s are good but not that good. I almost never have to make a tail correction with my 750 & 2100 helis. I always have to make corrections with the G401B helis. They always have some drift. I can fly a 750 & 2100 with 100% confidence. I just don't have the same confidance when flying a 401 - 85-90% confidance.

Everyone thinks that gyro is a clone of the 401 with SMM technology. It's not they do not use the same chip or technology. At best it emulates a 401.

If that is all the better a real Futaba 401 is, I just wont buy one.

You must not have your 750 set up right then.

Like I said, it's all about preference, but there is NO night and day difference. I should have kept my spartan, it was better than the 401 and the 750.

ive been following many 250 threads here and there, it has been well documented that the HK250 plastic and GT has issues about the belt and feathering shaft being very weak and also some have reported that they are having problems with the tail drive gear and some parts in the tail unit, resulting to replacing the problematic parts with align parts up front. If lets say i will buy a coptex 250se today will i be having the same issues like the HK owners have? does the cx250se a far better heli in terms of quality/durability vs the HK.... I have 2 gaui 200's and both flies great with virtually zero problem from the start. but i need some good advise on booting with the 250 size, specially what works and what needs to be replaced/fixed up front.

cx250se

I have not had any issues what-so-ever with my cx250se. I havent replaced any parts as of it. Ive been flying mine pretty much everyday since before xmas.
However...im using the stock motor and esc from ehirobo, towerpro 9g's all around, and the gy401-b gyro. I cant say you wont have any issues using other electronics though.
50% of my flights are indoor and the other half is outdoors.

does it suddenly blew up without any warning, are you implying that the stock tail belt is not that reliable?

My preflight check is if the last time i flew it and it was flying perfectly and i dont drop it on the floor while setting it on the shelf than i would think that it is still in perfect order for the next time i fly it. Seems as though gaui and trex are the only companies that can make a belt that will last over 20 flights. Just cant trust any of these clones belts.
