Ringburner,

In my excitement about the PA AMR I forgot to tell you I have the Addiction. It was my go to plane, the one I flew the most (until I got the REEEPP that now lives in the car, squashed between the front and back seats. I only take it out to reglue the darn motor mount).

The Addiction really taught me a lot about rudder and throttle control, makes Hi alpha harriers and all manner of spins easy, very easy. I fly the Addiction the most out of all my planes and it has improved my flying no end.

About the only things I don't like about it is the slow roll rate, until you get a few rolls happening consecutively it's very slow, and the LG assembly.

Clovus- get the Scorpion combo for sure! Its still a nice plane, and with the scorpion motor you more than likely won't have issues with the prop falling off. Thats pretty much the only bad thing that occurred. Otherwise, I was just saying I was expecting it to be a little more violent (and it most likely is much more so than the other PA planes.) Its still a nice plane though and flies great (like a foamy with momentum.)

From what I know they only have a couple of those AMR packages so I would get in quick if you are tempted.

Dave, I have over 700 flights on my Addition. Its a great fun fly plane. Very easy to 3D but not a precision plane. get one, you will not be disappointed.

Re slick, no idea. Its a 89 not a 70` but I can ask him if you like. I know he bought it second hand as an unbuilt ARF...

I rang ARK and bad news.... The AMR was a limited deal and they are all gone. Good news is I got the last one! Straight to the for sale thread for this puppy..... (joking! ) What's the consensus on a good prop?

I agree with you completely. Great fun fly- no good at precision. Slow roll rate IMO though, I like planes that roll quick.

Standard is 14x7 on the AMR though not sure on that motor. Mine is also flying great on a 13x6.5 with the Thrust 40.

Congrats Clovus, that's a really sweet deal. It's a shame PA planes are so damn expensive when they're not on sale.

They are on sale, well, kinda. I was just at PA and Adad said she had reduced the prices of all their stuff. Just checked the website and it's true!

Addiction was 200 now 180
AMR was 299 now 270

I just checked and an AMR will fit in my car fully assembled. Dam it!!!!!
