Building a texan AT-6 help

hi im am building a AT-6 texan by rbc kits. should i install the air intake and route it to go past the ESC which is an FX35 wired to a 3s 2100mah and a master airscrew 550 or will the ESC not even get hot enough

It's always a good idea to ventilate an ESC, as well as the battery.Also make sure you have 2x the intake area as exit area for the air.

On a plane like the AT-6, I would imagine the ESC could fit neatly inside the cowl (up against the motor mount) and get plenty of air. Well, that's the way I did it my my Herr AT-6, in any case. Let us know how it flies!

The bigger the IN & OUT holes. The better. I put a big angled up hole from the bottom center line.

can i put the holes opposite of one another or does it have to be one in the front and one in the back(so i saying one on left and right in and out )

IF you have good air flow straight in from the cowl & prop. You can put 1 hole on each side.
Try to put the holes just behind the ESCs rear end for best cooling. About 1/2" size each side.
If the firewall has no holes. Drill 4 or 5.... 1/4" holes in it.

Anything will be better than nothing.
