Those are to tension the folding props. I don't like them, because the props don't always deploy evenly, leading to a "thump" on start-up. Can't be good for the power system. I don't use the bands, and my start-ups are now fine.

one last question what with the two rubber bands i recieved with the power kit ????
They go in the little sleeves of the spinner and hold the folding props to help close them.

Many people just don't use them. Up to you.

cheers

Personally:

80% Throttle.
Toss using the index finger inside intrusion on the bottom.

MOST IMPORTANT: toss level to the ground. Not up, not down. Level with a bit of force. Then give elevator.

I launch infront of high grass just in case (after 10+ flights still).

What paint have you used? Very nice matte black look.. sexy

you can only throw with power off or no fingers
no luck with the power off
i throw by holding a wing with 1/2 to 3/4 power

Noo, you can throw with power. but you throw like this:
FMC Dietzenbach 2011 - Multiplex XENO (2 min 15 sec)

MULTIPLEX XENO. 11/27/11 (4 min 44 sec)

very smooth, fluid and quick! Look how their palms quickly curve down.

you should throw it towards light grass a few times without intention of take off. Get a feel for it. then launch with power. and always, ALWAYS commit to your launch.

I do throw it like this and I have made that same mistake with a mini slinger AUCH.

I recommend you to throw it towards wind, this way you create distances like so:

lift (vertical)
curve palm down (more vertical)
forward push to create lift (more vertical)
wind (more lift, and further more vertical)

emphasize the forward push to make lift greater and greater.

And if you are going to do unpowered launch, do it against the wind but always launch towards grass, don't take chances.
