Hi all, my xeno is virtually finished including the 'tuning' powerpod, no flying here in northern europe as the weather is grim for the moment. I found the construction straightforward with a couple of exeptions first,the centre plastic "fuselage?" needs careful fitting and adjustment to ensure that good contact is made to the elapor. once fitted I left the assembled parts for 24 hours before gluing to allow things to "settle in" before final fixing and secondly the small bearing fitted to the rear plastic mount is a tight fit and is best pressed in before gluing the mount to the elapor tube. I used zacki for all gluing as per instructions. I agree with Jurgen that I don't think the xeno is a floater as she is not the lightest of craft.

According to Multiplex, # 22 4111 contains the drive kit without motor, ESC, prop, adapter and spinner, but most likely the price is incorrect and will be checked.

The prop adapter to mount prop and spinner to the carbon shaft.

Spinner Ø 35 mm, blade holder and adapter # 73 3504

I have no idea when spare parts will become available.

Servos and battery arrrived yesterday. Tuning drive system is on backorder.

Multiplex revised their answer. I was right with my assumption and the picture in the instruction manual will be changed.

Got mine in today as well, ordered two kits with the tuning motor. I'll be using HS-82MG servos and our EzUHF RC receiver in combination with a full blown EzOSD installation and a 2.4GHz 500mW Tx.

You may want to consider using the recommended MPX Tiny-MG servos. The servo cable is approx. 2cm longer than on a HS-81.

I was looking at the Hitec HS-82MG too, but the stall currents of this servo are frightening:

@4.8V: 1450mA; @6V: 1800mA

Also the idle current of 10mA is rather high.

Rear bulkhead: 9.1g
Elapor fairings: 5.4g
Carbon shaft: 3.1g
Spinner backplate: 6.2g
Spinner cap: 6.3g
Alu Adapter: 8.2g
Small parts: 12.8g
9x6" folding blades: 9.2g

All together: 219.9g - for sure not an extreme lightweight construction.

I have received my kit and have ordered from the dealer 22 4111 including all the items in the manual photo. Since this is advertised on MPX site at 19.90 euros I trust they will honour this even though as Jurgen says they are going to change it Presume offer and acceptance law applies
