If I am, I will go ahead and do it. It will be worth the $6500

Good luck with it. My missus had Lasik a few years back. Was only good for about 18 months then back to where she was before. Not sure if its the same procedure as you are having.
If you like, a KOGAN16" monitor is a great, cheap replacement/substitute/enhancement to the goggles. I now fly with both. I need glasses to read but can use the Headplays ok without. I use specs to see the monitor, but its brilliant. Widescreen HD.
