Wow beautiful scenery. I love how vibrant the colors are. What plane are you flying?

Awesome edit there Gree. It's one of your best edits yet I think. A really watchable video with amazing colour. Have you done the GoPro firmware update?

Cheers

Climb. It looks pretty study.

You could also buy a length of PVC pipe for a prod, climb up a little and push it out.

When do I get my $10?

This is on my now pretty battered Easystar. I had a bad crash right before this flight. The wind flipped the plane inverted on take off and in it went bending up and snapping off the nose, as well as destroying my camera mount. Thanks Mr B for the epoxy!

Yeah my camera is all up to date. Better for live video out. The colours are really amazing but I have to say I did tweak them slightly in final cut. However it was only slight, and the raw footage was pretty vibrant as well. It was the light on the day that did it.

And thanks for the compliment Mr B. Wish I was there when you had all that low cloud!

Is anyone else waiting on orders from the U.S at the moment?

Shipping seems to be a lot slower than normal...

I've got 3 different items on the way, all stuck at various processing depots across America. First item was ordered 4 weeks ago, and shipped by the seller the day after payment!

Wow I hope not.. I've got 5-6 orders coming from the US, although they've only been posted in the last couple days so I'm not sure on their status yet.

I have ordered a few thing of late. They have been slower than usual for a few weeks now. Around the time they had problems with the 380s

I've been in a similar situation. I took my 8 meter ladder, and also the long aluminium handle for the pool scoop, and attached a long length of wooden dowel on the end of it.

Alternatively, electrical conduit, or 40mm PVC stormwater is real cheap, and a few 6 meter lengths might get you somewhere.

Or, got a 12 gauge?

i was actually considering it
the extension ladder and pool pole method was what i used to get it down, hopefuly the last time but it wasnt the first plane that tree has swallowed, its right next to my runway and with a southerly wind its hard to avoid.

I ordered a Pixim DX201 from rangevideo.com (Florida, USA) and it has arrived in less than 5 days. I hope the rest of my orders arrive as fast!

You will love the DX201. I had one and was really pleased with the light handling characteristics, great sharp image and colours.. Unfortunately its sitting on a cliff face overhanging rocks and waves and surf and stuff. It detached when I rescued my plane with a grapple. Also the case is way heavy.
I have another on the way too.
