Great setup HP. Wish we had your weather at the moment. 40 odd degrees last week, now wet and cold. Go figure. Good buiding weather though.

Yea, I'd say either one's should do a similar job. Expect a rocket with 26g sized motors and 3 cells. If you want to primarily fly it inside your house, it may be worth going for a tamer setup.

Using a Naze32 (with baro + mag) in mine.

Are you liking the Naze32 ?. I have a couple of them sitting around. They seem to fly really well in gyro only mode.

The Naze32 isn't bad. As you said flies real well in gyro mode. I have had a bit of a love/hate relationship with this quad. Was really finicky on tuning and wind before I flashed the esc's... since then I haven't had much calm air in which to further sort it, plus been focused on my other quad.

Later firmware versions have a better working level mode. I've actually flown a few batteries in only level mode. I want to get it locked in a bit more in level so I can FPV it. With the c20's it shouldn't have any issues carrying a full sized 200mw 5.8g tx board cam and keychain camera. LOL. It can easily carry a 3s 2200. FPV mockup pic attached.

Hi Mate,

So can I pick your brain...

Not having much exposure to the AMP2, is this the beast you are talking about, and, is this all that is need?

I know there is some telemetry, but is it essential?

Cheers

Holy cow!! Is that thing for real?? Whats the thrust of those little jets? I wouldnt believe they could get that thing flying (and fast enough for rolls) if i didnt see that video and just the plane on the ground!! I want one!!!!

While im here guys, does anyone know where i can get some of the pictured circlips? I snapped a motor shaft, and hobbyking in their infinite wisdom dont sell the replacement clips with the shafts!!!

Smallparts.com.au have all those kind of things, just need to find the correct size.
I've ordered from them a few times, they are fine if they carry the item in stock, sometimes they order stuff in for you and that can take longer.

RolandS888 - Where were you this morning mate? Had a early morning session at the usual spot. Mostly multi-rotor session but also flew the SW 1900mm.

Think I will sell the SW 1900 - just need to decide if I gut out all the electronics or sell it RTF.
Addicted to multi-rotor!
