Made a MASSIVE difference to how it flies, having a 4 to 1 power to weight ratio. I'll be buying preflashed esc's in the future, as it is really not worth the fiddling around to do yourself.
What motors are you using on your quadrixette nano danger_mouse ??, the a1510's?
The 10A esc's are fiddly to flash as you cannot use the HK flash tool, and even the contact pads are closer together than normal.

I feel for you east-coatsers. I was in Sydney Wed, Thurs and Fri. Airport was closed for a while yesterday arvo as I was waiting for my flight back home. Meanwhile it's going to be 38 here today, but right now it's really windy. Urrrrggghhhh!

Given that the real cri cri is not that big... That must be like 40-50%?
Cool project.

Think this is 34% but the canopy makes up about a 3rd of the fuse. Yes, I think its going to make a great FPV scale plane. I would buy a 100% Cri Cri, had the chance a while back except my 6.4 high is not going to cut it... Oh well, FPV scale is the next BEST thing for sure. Here is a picture of the finished ( factory demo ) Cri Cri Im building..

Back to my immediate rainy dayz activities.. My Sky Hunter is ready to roll ! Man this is a large plane. 66` span !

Kinda lov`n this rain.. Is making me productive !

I've seen a real one a few yrs ago, it seemed to fly much better than I thought it would upon initial "wow" you fly in that! His one had heaps of power.. Not sure if it was repowered from stock.
They certainly have a following all over the world.

I know ya prob only threw it on for photo but just so ya know the hunters prop is on backwards

One I saw was at Bankstown around 2001 I think. I did my time with Qantas as an AME, we did modules out there and it was in the hanger opp us one week.
Being an aerosexual I had to investigate!

Just thought id show our little flying group from Yamba.
Windy day as you can tell from my hobbyking windsock , but some of us still flew.
Its amazing how, when you mount a shade awning on your car , everyone gravitates to it..................now , where can i put my planes out of the sun..

might have to set down some ground rules i think ..lol.
Anyhow , at least FPV will be under shade from now on !!!

Cheers
Patrick
