Personally I like the Fat Shark cameras - If you are using their TX, it makes it much easier. I can get the same cameras in 12v too!!

This is a board only camera which is great to save weight and gives you options to tweak exposure and other stuff.

A 550TVL or higher camera is the best and you will have better vision and be able to place the plane better if flying around trees and other obstacles.

The camera is your eyes so I would definitely recommend a camera that has 550TVL and if you want small I would go with something like this @ 5V

Thanks for confirming what I am getting to realise. Good to have it confirmed.

I could pay that much for the other cameras but I suppose I'll check further for these cameras at a cheaper place. Thanks for identifying these cameras.

But do you use microphones. I bought a few of those long thin cheap ones probably only about $5 or less but have not used them yet.

Yeah me to for the simplicity of it all. I have only just ordered an AvionicsRC 500mW Transmitter for Fatshark RCV922 Headset to go with the new V3 camera from Fatshark.

I am hoping it's a reliable set. I want to use this as a daily hacker to stick on things that fly, drive, float here.

Haven't bothered much with sound but I did on the FW190 for a while and it sounded great with a particular speed control that I was using.

Yes i have been buying from them for a few years, no problems.
Odd occasions part orders have shipped because not everything was in stock, but remainder of orders arrived soon after no extra charges or anything.
Many items are a great price, but not everything, so know, dont assume everything is a bargain.
