is there much difference between an octura y 535 and an x 535 propeller ?
iwhat is ther difference, is ther much ?

Yes. The first number is the pitch. So one is 1.5 times and the other is 1.4 times the diameter to calculate the pitch.

Just add a #1 instead of letter then decimal point
 pitch then diameter.....also means low lift series off prop's...the hull is where the lift is for these batch of prop's

lifter props are for 'riggers and other hydros, mono hulls & cats don't generally benefit much from 'lifter' props. all other factors being equal...a 531 should provide a modest speed increase.

"X" Denotes that it is a lifter prop and the "Y" is not a lifter prop. I run a Y535 and Y536 on my 1/12 Miss Elam Nitro w/ .18 engine running on 50% nitro. She loves those props!
