It is a very thin cellophane product from a craft store...Hobby Lobby. It comes in many colors. Cut with a sharp knife and glue edges down..once torn at all, it rips easily. I think they decorate gift baskets with it normally.

I ordered some of that cellophane film, and also ordered some holographic present wrap.. the holographic comes in a range of colors being colored on one side and silver on the other.. ( ebay Xmas holographic wrap)
Here is another micro build...A Nutball at 14" diameter.. with no gear it is at 20.5gms, so a target of 35-37gms for a wing loading of 1.235ozsqft edit 6jan 2013... AUW missed the target and went to 41gms for a wing loading of just under 1.5ozsqft edit ...the cellophane film (florists wrap from ebay) I ordered has arrived and feels very much like the holographic material... it resists being hand torn, its tough enough, but when cut it will tear along from the cut line easily edit2 on topic tip... for poorly fitting prop savers and to help fit a gws prop use some 4mmx2mm CF tube.. on the 1.5mm motor shaft slide a bit of the 1.5mm bore heatshrink.. a perfect fit .....which then goes into the 2mm hole in the tube and the whole lot is then centralized on the motor shaft and it doesn't matter that the prop saver isn't fitting the prop as the band holds it all together nicely
