@Techspy: what happened to your piano recorder? Do they get broken so easily?

Thanks and another question, please. The video output on the V-made sends out the original signal with the original resolution of the source or the signal with a resolution of 640x480 pixels (V-mate max resolution) ?

Hi everybody its 2012 and i want to record my FPV flights for about 100$ allot of the recorders listed are long gone is there an updated list or can i get some suggestions please

I reversed polarity on my ground station and fried the piano recorder.

I just ordered a Lawmate PV-500 ECO that should arrive today. Not many other good quality options out there now. the japan FPV recorder looks good but seems to have issues with supply. I like the ability to record in HD resolution with the Lawmate anyway.

I have been looking for a schematic on the VIO POV pinout.

My Emprex is having issues, and I would like to convert the VIO POV to record on my ground station.




can you guys help me find a pinout diagram?

I really don't want to crack the case, and cannot find a pinout schematic...

I spoke to surveillance112 this morning the only problem is the date and hour on the bottom of the screen which you cannot efface,,,,

I own this model, in D1 mode it skips many frames, in VGA mode video almost smooth but bit rate is very low, takes some 20MB for every minute recorded
Audio is bad in all modes.
without case it weigh some 40gram so I often use the DVR inboard small wing.

Any idea if it records through static, or what bitrate it records at?
Since it's touted as working with a spy cam product (where long recording time is a feature),
I'll bet the bitrate will be too low for the demands of FPV.

Keep in mind, there's a zillion DVRs out there, and only a small number of them work well
for FPV ground recordings.
