Overall this is really nice-looking and has lots of nice detail. A huge foamy model like this is just way cool! Just to quantify the observations already made...attached is a superimposition/added outline (source: here). As skyhawk mentioned, the vertical stab is smaller. The other differences are pretty subtle. Looks like the canopy "hump" extends back just a bit far...and has a "razorback" thing going on (but that probably has something to do with it being a prototype). Also it looks like the intake is set back a bit, and the break between the front of the canopy and the upper nose is a bit flat of an angle. Overall pretty nice though. Probably will be out of my price range for how much money I'm comfortable throwing up in the air, but I would almost pay admission to see something like this fly!

Don't use that outline, it's from the 1970's. This one is more appropriate.

I like it!

OK, you have my attention! I also never purchased an F-16 waiting for a 90mm version. I would only ask that it be sold by several vendors and not by any "exclusive" vendor only for the price to be jacked up.

I would also like the option to buy a bare airframe version so I can install the power system and electronics of my choice. I have no need for retracts either; hopefully that would be an optional item.

I'm in as well... What's the w/s on this bird? I also hope there is a airframe only version. Hate to spend 600$ only to have the stock esc or motor burn up.

This F-16 has to be very close to production. You can tell in the last picture (close up the main gear well). Notice the foam has not been cut on a CNC as prototypes typically are. That my friends looks to be from a mold. I'd also be interested in getting one without retracts.

Andy,
Please talk with the owner of www.ejf.com to get them to sell Starmax aircraft. I'm sure they would be interested and they have a really good reputation (unlike BH).

+1 on EJF they are really a great bunch to do business with. They handle all the RC Lander stuff also.

Maybe this is why Lander has just made and tested his 120mm metal edf unit.

I've wanted the little Starmax F-104 for a while now. I'm not willing to buy it in anything other than airframe only version. I'd love to be able to get it from EJF.

If they made that F-104 a bunch more scale, they'd have sold a bunch more of them.

The nose on this F-16 looks completely wrong from the top/bottom view. F-16's have flaperons too. I could live with the cartoon AIM-9's. Just leave them off.

I'm right there with you. It is available overseas, I was hoping to find one here in the states.

I agree on the nose. Not sure how they missed that or the tail being way too short. Honestly if you are going to put as much time as it looks like they spent on designing this plane you would think they would get stuff like that right before they even cut out a prototype.

Looks like a few other things might be out of shape as well.
