I think he put the plans out here for his piper and a couple others at one time but then all of a sudden it seamed like they were taken down. I dont know if he thought we were going to mass produce them for sales purpose or what. joe

Mr. Lin created his Q-edition Piper PA-28 in 2010. I searched his blog (as well as Flying-Piza-Club, Taiwan) thoroughly and learned that he is gracious enough to share 20+ creative design drawings freely on his blog.

But so far he has not published the Piper; He was blessed with a even cuter baby daughter in early 2011, perhaps that's why he did not have time to tidy up and share his PA-28 hand drawing.

It's very interesting to read his Piper building process (with photos) here, Yeah I wish you could read Chinese too!

I can read the link page fine but for some reason the posts here are messed up. If your remark of (i wish you could read chineese were ment to be funny ( ha ha) if it was meant to be a smart remark them . Its always great when some one comes in at the very end of three of us trying to help a fellow model builder . joe

Hello from Germany,
if you have a little patience, you will get the plans. I build the PA-28 Fattie some weeks ago. I used 3mm and 6mm EPP and fly my fattie indoor. Its a little underpowered with the turnigy 2204-14T and GWS 8x4,3 on 2S 500mAh, so I ordered the Turnigy Aerodrive SK3 - 2822-1090kv and try it on 3S 500mAh. On my first setup the AUW is 245g, with my new setup I hope I can stay below 275g.

First I used the plans from "Klaus(i)" from the german forum. But I have to do a lot of modifications, so my first plans are not longer up to date (I add some EPP here, cut some EPP there etc). I create new plans in the next few weeks (all modifications will be included) and post them here.
I will post my progress next time....

regards
Robert

NEW PLANES for PA-28 available

Changed the motor and flew it indoor. The AUW is now 277g, but it's worth the additional weight. Now I'm able to turn without loosing altitude.
The new spinner is also installed.

You can find some more pictures here (but my page is only in german language available):

Thanks alot to ey0927399, Klaus(i) and all other involved people

regards
Robert

Looks great Robert and thanks for the plans . Iam building a canard desighn now of a das canard stick . Its a plan from the 70's that i shrunk for electrict. I hope to test it soon with a 1500 kv motor and a 3 cell 1300 lipo and if every thing flys good build a bigger one with free plans. Here are the plans i started with in case any one else wants to give her a try. Mine is a 38 inch wing span and the original is 60 inch span and nitro. joe
